RE on topic - As long as they are wise and dont put it agaisnt football then it will do fine.
Well evening matches are 19:30 kickoff. That means they would have to avoid the 21:00 timeslot. Although they might manage it with the 21:30 slot.

The house just looks amazing. By far the best looking house in BB history and its such a shame that the series didn't start last month like i have been saying for weeks now because for a good month, BBs viewing figures are going to get raped.

And patrick, don't be so deluded mate. People all over the world, watch the world cup. Over a billion or something, watched the actual final.

Its a huge event. And you should give up on this hope/delusion it could come back. Its not coming back. They are now giving it the send off it deserves. Trying to make it a great series and the LF back for the hardcore element fanbase. Although why anyone would want to pay for it...

The Wednesday launch might suffer because of the being up against a popular BBC program in its second-last episode

Thursday it has a good chance to make up as there isn't a huge amount facing it

On Friday, it will get SLAUGHTERED by the opening day of the World Cup matches.

It's a shame they picked this week to start the show.

I think they will move the schedual abit tbh, so Friday clashes with BB?
Well then if they have a twist on that friday, its ****ed.

If Friday gets low ratings compared to Wednesday and Thursday which I reckon will be above 4 Million well then I think they will learn from their idiotic mistake and put BB at 10PM When the World Cup clashes.
The same could be said by the non Big Brother fans.. "Who really cares about a bunch of fame hungry nobodies making twats of themselves?"

Note, that isn't my opinion, however I would choose watching a World Cup game over a Big Brother show any day of the week.

Ok, if you want I could tell you that at least 15m people watch every England game in England alone, easily. That far outweighs about 2-3m of the BB audience.

Where have you got the number "2 billion" from anyway, that seems like a vague figure.

15 million ?? lmfao you are joking right?

2 Billion was the figure given during a BB10 build up show looking back at all the series worldwide etc

Yeah... OVERALL.

One world cup beats that.

England game would easily get 15+MILLION viewers in the world cup.
