You’re not quite getting me. She wants to be a Doctor and then changes her name to Sunshine. It’s crazy. i agree with you ,If for some daft reason she wanted to change her name why not pick something normal? and IMO she is far from "sunny" she has a mean and dark side ,the "Sunshine" name is a cover up and as fake as she is

But wouldn't it be a wonderful name for a kids doctor. Also she is a pretty cheerful person.

And if she has the ability to be a doctor she'll succeed, she will not be judged on her name.

Her name isn't legally changed, it's more a nickname. And really I don't get people's obsession with it anyway, same with her veganism. Both are her choice.

If I was in her waiting room and she came out said 'Hello, I'm Dr Sunshine Martin'. I'd immediately assume it was her natural name if she revealed that she'd changed it from Yvette then my curiosity would definitely be piqued and I'd probably question if she was a real doctor and not some PhD in a dead subject like Latin. I think changing her name loses her a great deal of credibility in her chosen profession.

I don't particularly like Sunshine. She is a bit too needy for my liking. I don't think she is unstable or unbalanced at all. She just comes across as someone who has never had to share space with anyone before. She is a bit daft, But unstable no.

Really? Thats only because she has some control over the budget. IF she had no control then she couldnt insist. It may seem like an obvious statement but its true. Insisting on Vegan food is a control issue IMO. She doesnt need Vegan food its just to show the other HM's that this is her little thing and they're going to do what she wants.
