Also, it was Keeva who wanted to discuss religion after Dave made a perfectly legit comment that Hitler was full of demons.

Agreed OP I dislike Dave and his 'religious ideas' I do not trust him and believe him to be a manipulator I would not trust him as far as I could throw him that is for sure.

'the word of God comes alive...' bleah..he always seems to be trying to get people to agree with his way of thinking (recruitment drive perhaps???) tbh it would make me very uncomfortable if he started to try and preach that stuff to me...im not sure I could be as polite as the HMs have been about his views on things

I may be wrong - but if, as you and others imply, Dave is a devious conman who has gone on the show to gain publicity for his 'dishonest cult' and to reap the financial rewards of that - would bb put such a person in there! Do bb not check the background of the hms - surely there must be some kind of checking process in place - they don't want ex-criminals, rapists etc in there!

Can you imagine the uproar if the publicity gained from the show managed to attract many gullible people to Dave's 'dishonest cult' and they were ripped off by him or harmed in some way! All seems a bit far-fetched to me - people getting a bit carried away and hysterical because they don't understand this 'drunk on god' stuff! We fear what we don't understand etc!

legit IF you believe in "demons" and that demons made Hitler what he was. Keeva doesn't see god's or the devils hand everywhere like Dave does. It implies humans wouldn't commit those atrocities otherwise and that we don't need to understand how atrocities really happened... ie "demons are to blame!".
We don't need Dave's scare tactics since the truth is even scarier... Hitler was human... not 'full of demons'.
