I'm interested in this as well, I know Mich attends all sorts of events I am not talking about them but apart from TVX what else has she done. I have no idea about JL and as I don't know him I can't comment on that but surely as her agent he would have wanted to get her back on TV asap. At the same time what did JN do either?

Gill the events she attends are appearances and she is paid for these - I dont know if its directly or from the pics that are taken and sold or both and this is work and you need to be invited - you cant just turn up - its through your agent and the agent gets and arranges these for you - I am sure she gets some offers of mag and other work too but they may not be suitable or what she wants at this time and she gets to choose what work she wants to do at the end of day - but I think Jonathan is doing a good job and we have seen more of her out and about since he became her agent than in the whole year before when we only had Ok to look forward too.

She attended two or three events just before xmas and has been on holidays since then like the rest of us - visiting her family - give her a chance - the event and premiers and celeb party scene is very quiet over the holdiay period and only started back last wed/thur - and as she is happy with him I suppose it doesnt really matter what you or I think about him - he is her choice and we should respect that.

The only time Michelle has really been seen in the last six months is at celebrity parties/events and whilst these are good for keeping her in the magazines/papers I do not consider these actual proper work. I didn't actually realise that celebrities got paid for attending such events so that is news to me.
I'm sure though that Jonathan is working hard to find Michelle suitable work and if she felt he wasn't she would go elsewhere.
It has been hinted that there are a few things in the pipeline so it would be good to know what these are.
Hopefully we will find out soon. .
I know we have been told that the emphasis is now on her music career and that she is currently working hard on this, but I am still interested to know exactly what happened to her glamour modelling career which she seemed so set on a while ago and which seemed to be over before it had begun.
Surely after her split with Stu (?) she could have taken full advantage of this and I'm sure there wouldn't have been a shortage of work in this area had she wanted it, but it was around this time that the emphasis seemed to shift to a music career. Strange .
I have my opinions on the reasons for this which I think are connected to other things that have 'happened' (?) in the last six months but as the main one of these has been discussed at length on another thread I shall leave it at that for now.

Yes Treacle I understand about all the events that Mich is attending amd I am not comment about JL but what actual work has JL got her apart from invites to this sort of stuff, I think that people would actually like to see on her tv, taking part in something and a year on we have only seen her on a couple of things.

I suppose it could be there hasn't been anything offered/found that Michelle actually wanted to do - or she is busy with something in the background. I think I read that Kate Lawler took some time out from "working" to hone her DJing skills before she fully launched that. It's possible Michelle is doing something similar I guess.

If she really does have the final say on what she does/doesn't do then she must have her reasons for choosing PA's over other work.

Some of these events are for charity.I find it very sad that so called celebrities are paid to attend these. Surely the charities should benefit from the sales of pictures or fees paid to to celebs? Yes I am aware that some celebrity status may bring a charity to the public's attention but I do believe their time should be given free like the majority of volunteers who work tiredlessly without payment and give up a large part of their free time to do so. If people expect attendance fees they shouldn't attend charity events.

I used to be a fan of Michelles but now while I am still interested in what she does, continually attending events and parties does not appear to be much of a career or enough to hold my interest.

chick I wasn't blaming Michelle personally but celebrities in general.
However continually attending events and parties is not much of a career. It only gives the media cause to comment on their appearance,dress etc which is usually not kind and I don't feel that is the media attention that I want to read about or what Michelle wants either
I don't agree with the any'mention is a good mention' theory either.

Thanks for the new agent info I went and had a look and it seems that Michelle is to be concentrating on her music and modeling career in 2006. Sam, Saskia, Shell and Vanessa all seem to still get modeling work so there should be plenty of opportunity for Michelle, as in my humble opinion she knocks spots off of that lot

I agree Chick the Glam Stuff is old hat now, I think she always looked fab when she was posing for the ok shoots with Stu, something more magaziny would be great
