I think he viewed Rachael as a shallow person therefore not having much respect for her. He realised she wanted to go in such magazines as Nuts after BB and didnt value her as a person. With Josie he loves her but finds it hard to show it in a physical way.

He might well "love" her as a sister, but Josie "loves" him as a man, not a brother,and he is well aware of that. Therefore his behaviour is LEADING her on.

Who's going on about john james having respect for women?? What a crock he's awful to women.. He bullies women or try's that he know's he can get away with it..
