A lot of people are saying that it should be obvious to andrew that he could never have josie...well I say it should be blatantly obvious to josie that she can't have john james.

I think you are all underestimating Andrew, he instigates a lot of the jokes between him and Josie, he gets it and he takes the piss out of Big Brother. He has a very dry sense of humour which he shares with Josie and which he showed clearly during the Glee task but half the housemates didn't get it.

Andrew is a very clever and very funny man, Josie can joke with him and relax. He knows that she likes JJ and likes to play up on it cause JJ doesn't get andrews humour.

I actually think he is taking the piss out of BB, especially when he goes on about Josie. He has a very dry sense of humour, which alot of people don't get. He is clever and funny and he understands the dynamics of the show.

Andrew is milking the Josie thing for laughs, I really think that. He might have a soft (or not so soft) spot for her, but he enjoys her company and a laugh.
