At the end of the day John James and Josie are box office, and they are keeping the ratings up. Unfortunately watching Steve sleaze all over young women and Mario becoming more unstable by the day is not going to keep people interested. Their "will they, wont they" relationship has captured the publics imagination and it is in the inrerest of the show that they stay in.

Justice is a rare comodity in this "business of show" and people like Dave, Steve, and Mario are not entitled to it as they do not deserve it. They just dont have that "it" factor. Lets be honest here they are quite simply boring (and in Mario's case three sheets to the wind). When you think about it, Big Brother cracking down hard on them for rule breaks makes them interesting for a few seconds so in practical terms, Big Brother is doing them a favour.
Dave has is 100 times more interesting and funny than JJ and in my opinion those two qualities are entertaining. What is so entertaining about this dead end relationship? what more is there to see? I like Josie but JJ does my head inside out!!

The spirit of the show wasn't working, thats why this is the last one. Like it or not characters such as Ben, JJ and Josie are box office, and money in the bank

Dave is mental. He was put in the show for his whacky religous views. Because he is not preaching or doing strange things he is no longer of any use.

Dave's infraction (this time) was so borderline it was unbelievable - he didn't actually mention nominations, he actually mentioned non-nomination of 2 individuals. This could conceivably only be seen as influential if there were only a few people in the house left to nominate. JJJ told JJ they wouldn't nominate him which is far more influential than what Dave did.
What JJJ are doing with their mics is rule breaking 101. What do they have to hide? Switching off or incapacitating their mics means they are not participating in the show. They have already been punished for it - remember they had to draw cocks on each other in the DR - a savage punishment if ever I saw one. If they still do not wish to be part of the program then show them the door and give us back our fecking show.

You are BB's ideal demographic. Doesn't make you right though.

I think you give the producers too much credit. Sure, the show has inevitably evolved into what it is (possibly mutating a bit), but the producers get it wrong too often - surely the crappy ratings is proof of this?

They miss obvious tricks (like actually having a celeb be the Uber Cougar), bad HM selection, a lot of the tasks are absolute dross and, as mentioned, being shamelessly biased toward things they think will boost ratings.

People like Mario are expendable (and a future sex pest)
It isn't a drama series, it is supposed to be a reality show - about the public vote - and it is no longer that this year! A farce!

A lot of people are watching because they are frustrated at the 'showromance' and are eager to see one or both of those two removed by the public - not because they want to see them all over each other - they want the chance to watch their favourite hms for a change!

Why on earth do you watch a show when you believe the producers think we are all essentially stupid ? In my book - they are the stupid ones if they think the public are interested in such drivel and need them to tell us what we want to watch!

I do, however, agree on one point - Mario is potentially a future sex pest!

In terms of Dave he clearly broke the rules, stupidity is not an excuse

In terms of JJJ, they were discussing their own relationship, not nominations. Also BB is not going to punish the stars of their show. They should maybe punish Mario instead

How do you know what they were discussing - that is the whole point - they took their mics off and could have been talking about anything - including nominations! They would hardly admit to that though - would they! Naive comment!

If they're smart enough to break off an emotional conversation to discuss nominations then I say Bravo, they should get away with it. But coming back to the real world its abundently clear what they were discussing

My point was about disparity. You obviously agree.
Although from your standpoint it is justified because you like JJJ which proves my point further and discredits yours to the n'th degree.

But ,also in the real world, HMs have been punished for mentioning nominations when it has been obvious that they were not trying to influence votes. BB changes the rules at their whim.

Dave get put up for discussing nominations, where other HMs have got away with it more than once - because BB doen't favour Dave.

JJ gets to turn off his microphone, break-out into the camera runs and it goes unpunished - because BB favours him. Simples. May aswell hand him the crown now

Alternatively - it could just be part of the act! And that is besides the point - they have no right to break the rules and should be punished accordingly! They could of been discussing anything - regardless of their 'apparent' emotional state - no exceptions for anyone!

Stars in your eyes, not mine! Same goes for the public as a whole - some may like them - many don't! Definitely not stars - that is what bb want us to think - you sound like their puppet!

They are undoubtably the most popular characters in the house, both have been bookies favourites to win at different times. Think about it, who else is entertaining in the house ?

You shouldn't resent them because they are better then the other HM's

Last series or not - should bb be so arrogant as to think they can practice whatever double-standards they choose in the name of their brand of entertainment! The show should be allowed to go out with a bang - not all this boring showmance crap! Comments please!
The only comment I have is....that you are absolutely correct!
I've been 'jumped on' for stating this very fact , many times before!
e.g...The showmancers telling jj2 that they would never nominate him, whilst in the pool etc!.....But their fanbase seems to be too huge to risk annoying with little things like rules!!
It's pathetic!!
