I didn't say anything, but people don't have to like gays blacks pikeys travellers or chavs or middle class white people..... some people have got a lot of reason not to like or fear pikeys, or any other group..part of traveller culture and language includes theft or 'choring' , people say often say 'bloody pikeys' with good reason. It doesn't mean all pikeys are thieves but the ones that arn't could choose to accept that many are disliked because of this. similar things can be said of other groups. imo

LOL i rarely laugh at a post but i find your idea of the new word for crap being 'asian' really funny. (no i'm not racist against asians) I love messing around with words and meaning. You know what, mabey on some levels , used with a certain context or inflection, it could perhapes be homophobic, but you know what...we can't control what other people think and trying to control what they say will only provoke reaction. It is far better to tune into the humour and own and use the word in a positive way . gays have done this with words like 'queer' and blacks have also done it with '*****' . You can't really say to people don't hate me your being horrible....Personally i hate gansta rap and find it really offensive, but it's none of my busiiness really.
