I don't like Dave at all. He has a real mean streak in him. When he playfights he reminds me of the little boy in the playground that pulls the girls hair too hard or nips the other kids to make them cry. He is a backstabber and brown noser as well. And all of that is from his behaviour inside the house.

Getting 'drunk on the lord' is mild, it one of his ways to relate and express his message. I think he reaches out in a more radical way rather than some churches might but then that may be needed as there as quite a lot of people into drugs and desperation that maybe only he could reach out too, although a lot of traditional churches are becoming more and more modern. I wouldn't brand him as a cult, certainly he has nothing to do with the dangerous parts of the definition of a cult he doesn't exploit people or try and control their minds. I really don't think a cult leader would appear on national TV. The problem is that people are spiritually dead and can't understand anything spiritual and so they cast it off as false. Regarding the bible, no other book ever written comes close to it's quality of literature. It's in a league of it's own. It's not just a book it's a masterpiece.
