Tass was renamed as ITAR and Pravda the newspaper while officially closed was reopened by its workers. Who then went on to produce Pravda online. So neither are defunct. They evolved.

Again not true

Pravda online still has the same relevance, Gazeta Pravda is the name of the official newspaper of the communist party in Russia and "TASS" remains in the name abbreviation, so TASS became the specifier of the official name "Телеграфное агентство связи и сообщения", Telegrafnoye agentstvo svazi i soobshcheniya, i.e. the Telegraph Agency of Communications and Report.

So they do have relevance.

The DS rules clearly state that appreciation threads like fan forums are for positive, appreciation posts only, if you want to slag off a housemate, then you do it outside them or face a ban, which is fair to me. Received a (deserved) 48 hour one this teatime (hence why I'm here). It's my first since 2007, so their not half as trigger happy as made out here as made out here, firm but fair.

I never posted on the appreciation thread tho...just a tongue in cheek post, highlighting the ott adulation of jjj on the app threads, which i posted in the main bb forum
