off course we have sympathy for anyone with an illness,the only thing that annoys ,is when they keep bringing it up to get people feeling sorry for them,its the same on the x factor, im doing it for me mam, shes only got one leg and half a kidney,we can do without all that

Yeah ok.. I agree with that.But to say in Nikki's favour, her anorexia isn't really something she keeps bringing up is it? I've never heard her talk openly about it in the BB house...
She may act like a spoilt brat most of the time,but she does not strike me as a sympathy seeker at all.

Never said I didn't have any sympathy, I just wonder about the double standards.

An illness that her Mother and her said got worse because she went in the Big Brother house and she would never go back in again.

She's never come across as anybody I've seen with Anorexia or Bulimia.

SHe's battled with anorexia since she was 8 and has nearly died several times! Anorexia isn't something tha you just grow out of... that fear of putting on weight will be with her for life. Yes she'll have phases when she will appear ok, but like any mental illness, her anorexia can be triggered at any time.

I was moved to tears last night when I watched the highlights show. One of the best Nikki moments ever, so honest and genuine. How she cried and Vanessa hugged her....! They are both lovely. Nikki to win! x

She's not my favourite but she is complicated and has real problems which probably explains some of her behaviour - I like the way Vanessa takes the time to listen and talk to her rather than dismissing her, like Ulrika

This is so very true, Ulrika is always dismissing everything that Nikki says.

I have respect for her recovering from Anorexia, really I do. But it just seems like a very desperate ploy seeing as it's the final week.

Nikki's VERY self-aware. She knew where the cameras were in BB7, she was always in and out of the DR, and even her own fans realised when she came back during BB7 that she was playing up to the tantrums and falling for Pete.

But she isnt playing on her tantrums now which as you imply she did to add to her popularity.

And she didnt bring her anorexia up it was Vannessa who prompted the conversation

By that I meant she did that during her second stint on BB7 and her tantrums are a big reason why she's memorable/popular. The fact she played on that sort of stuff last time is indicative that she's aware of public opinion. And this time she's toning them down but still has the odd few.

Even if Vanessa got the ball rolling, the ball's in Nikki's favour

I've deleted the pointless arguing and some of the more inflammatory posts, if it continues it'll be heavy infractions for ALL involved.

As for the topic at hand, I thought it was a very moving conversation and I genuinely believe that it was real, Nikki has faked her behavior in the past (last week of BB7) but I don't think she has played up her behavior much in UBB and she's only talked about Anorexia once so I doubt it was a ploy as she would have spoken about it a lot more if she had.

People have grounds to say a lot about Nikki but I think that when it comes down to her anorexia, I don't think it's fair to say she's faking when she's only talked about it once. If that's the case why has Chantelle & Preston or Ulrika come under fire for repeatedly discussing their past nearly every show?

It was a part of an argument and a fair few of your own posts towards Truck was as aggressive as some of his towards you. If you want to discuss this further then PM me.

At the end of the day I deleted all the posts in the argument from a neutral perspective. I can't pick and choose which posts to keep as people would only see that as biased.

Totally agree! Nikki is genuine and sweet. I was touched.
