Yes, I agree it was the end for many characters. The only one I thought had strength to go on was Kris

What I like is that they've put different spoilers out to confuse us all, the papers etc had no idea what would be shown and that clip with Amy was put out for a purpose to put people off the scent.

The latest I've seen are for Tue or Wed night where they report 1.4 million viewers for that episode.

Which didn't work on me as I tried to avoid this weeks fire spoilers. Typical, I would have enjoyed the red herrings they threw about.

The ratings is brill news and well deserved Paul Marquess has done a great job with the show , and IMO is the best soap at the moment

Hollyoaks was in a really bad place 6 months ago, if you're comments are based on that, then I agree with you, however it really is turning around these days.

I don't think I could get back into watching it now to be honest, like I said there are too many characters in it now that I have no idea who they are!
It seems the show has had so many 'new starts', hopefully this will be the one to turn it round for good...

Well theres been quite a few axings but also a few actors have left on their own accord, the new characters were introduced too quick which is a criticism I have.. they should have been introduced slowly so people got to know them but they are settling in.

Things are improving and the last couple of weeks were the official episodes of the new producer and a revamp behind the scenes with writers etc helped.

I appreciate what's being said however, I didn't feel the rush of new characters too much, I was just grateful something was happening.

I did ask myself how much longer would I be tuning in 6 months ago. I ca say that I am really pleased I stuck with the show as I'm absolutely loving it now.

I'm glad they've toned down on all those students. Josh and that other Chinese one were really really bad actors, plus Josh's mate, that brown haired one.

Absolutely.

I thought the batch of students, Dave, Josh, India & Charlotte were a poor mix when compared to those before them. It's a telling point when the next thing they are all axed. I wonder how India stayed on, maybe the story involving her Grandad & Cindy played a part in this, but what now of the character ?

Charlotte was interesting during the whole Sarah & Lydia story, but lacked any substance ever since those days.
