Maybe he has a lot on his mind as to what to do with it next year and ehen to have it on too, also the USA project as well. I am sure he will get back to his on the ball critical self and this pre-occupation will leave him before the final weeks.

I used to wait eagerly for his comments on acts but this year he simple seems to be echoing Ms Cole for some reason and defending her acts as much as she does even when they are really bad.

I'm not worried Joey,we have lived without the show before and will again,I just think it's a shame that it will go the same way as BB as it is quite enjoyable to watch and to champion on your favourites,I think Simon is softer this year,but whatever he does will be seen as wrong,I also liked his 'edge'but i still think he is a fair judge,I just do not think he cares so much this year and i thing that is something to do with last years number one debarcle,it was done for spite,nothing more.and in fairness he has disagreed with Cheryl a few times,maybe not as much as we'de like him to though,lol,When it gets to America,I don't think ours will stay.IMO it was at it's best when Louis,Simon and Sharon were the judges.Quite like Danni this year though,last year she was a cow,LOL as she dissed danyl big time.Anyway lets hope it stops a while yet.

If he buggered off and took the show with him then he deserves to rot IMO. The artists and the public make the show what it is..not simon cowell. The show can survive without him, but couldnt survive without either the artists or the public who pay good money to phone in and also watch the show to get its ratings which the advertizers then bid large wads to show their ads in.

And lets not forget that this show of his was basically a stolen format and re-jigged slightly from a previous show called Pop Idol.

He actually believes himself a pop guru now and its sad to see that there are actually people out there that hang on his every well rehearsed word.

I totally agree with you. I used to respect Simon and looked forward to his opinions because they were truthful. He seemed to care more about truth then publicity but this year it has been cringeworthy. I don't know what kind of hold that stupid cheryl has on him. Or maybe being in love with meghan has done weird things to him.
