Hoping for a decent money gig. I refuse to work for less than 250 quid on NYE, as you usually end up fighting and stuff and its just not worth it. Got 400 last year

I'm totally undecided about tonight! I have a few options, one of which involves sitting in the house on my own, which I was happy to do until I heard everybody making their plans today! I'm planning to celebrate on new Years Day so going to bed would be the sensible thing to do.. but I don't like to feel I'm missing out on any shennanigans!!

Firstly... Happy Hogmanay Everyone!!

Option 1. is to being called a party pooper as I want to have a nice peaceful evening and wake up fresh as a daisy tomorrow, get the tree down and packed away and enjoy my last few days off ...

or....

Option 2. go join friends house party - with too much booze flowing, too much noise - pretending I'm just having the time of my life. Will get drunk, stagger home, try to cook pizza pissed, fall asleep, burn the kitchen and have a piss poor start to 2011, with a raging hangover to boot.

m,mmmm..... Option 1 sounds more appealing by the second.

I just can't make up my mind either Pyramid! But I do tend to agree that staying in is soundin a bit more appealing!

Having what remains of my group of friends over tonight, half of them are busy with other plans but say they'll appear at mine at some point, no real idea what's going on to be honest haha! I need to shower and go buy booze... gah.

I confess, I am at this very point in time, in the final stages of making a steak pie for dinner tomorrow - and can see me getting to dark o'clock then having a big bowl of stew, happily munching and supping away to my heart's content..........

Yip.. I've more or less made up my mind. OH is going to go to Asda and get me a bottle and some nibbles and I'm going to stay in and have a wee party for one.. Then when OH gets home from work, we'll have a wee glass of champers and be nice and fresh tomorrow!

I nipped out earlier to the butchers and passed Tesco and Morrisons - both of them had car parks stouwed to the gunnels (sp?)..... you've got a very loving OH there Happy!!!

The usual NYE routine; going to the pub to see 2011 in, then going to the bars/clubs along the beach for the rest of the morning then waking up with a terrible hangover tomorrow morning and having to go to work
