Absolutely terrible! I'm watching it now on Sky+ Ch5 have really ****ed up worse than I tought they could of. The music, the flashbacks and the names on screen are awful.

Agreed. It doesn't feel English anymore. English reality shows NEVER had any of this over produced stuff the american shows had. I can't wait to see the ratings tommorrow. If they gain a new audience with this format, good for them. But I won't be one of them and in my mind neither will most everyone here.

I have just turned off. I can deal with no star power, I can deal with pointless live shows. But that...that was horrid. I don't want a MTV style show! And I can imagine it isn't just the fans that are reacting this way.

I wonder how many people right now are going:

at the end of the day BB is light entertainment, something that you have on in the background
this new format is the epitome of light entertainment
if you want something heavier you need to be watching the real world

I'd rather continually watch the BB5-7 style of show until the end of time even if it meant it became a niche show on at late night for a cult audience of 1-2 million people.

American reality shows have gameplay and stuff actually happening, which makes the stylised editing bearable. On a British show like BB that's just about forming relationships, it's horrible - I can't see how it'll work without famous names unless the cast is absolutely stellar.
