I guess if you consider any attention, even negative attention, valid... then you're right, Rebeckah earns her screen time.

She's my fav female too - but only becuase she appears to be down to earth - though her banging on about it all the time is niggling. She is gorgeous - and it's interesting to see how all the others (female and male) react to her beauty. Maisy appears to be doing much of the 'copycat' thing with the hats - which brings us right back to what the vesuvius was saying (I think). it's more to do with how she looks, than what she has on a personality front.


But she doesn't really do much else, there is little about other than the physical. She doesn't 'seem' bitchy, doesn't appear to get involved with many of the others in any fun way, nothing amusing comes out of her mouth, no good humour, fast wit etc. I do understand why the OP has asked the question.

Well, in terms of BB, yep I consider everything that Rebeckah has done in there as valid.

Your really buying her whole 'I'm normal, I'm the same as you plebs because I like chips' act?

Like I say, the fact that she keeps repeating it says clearly that she feels the need to reinforce it due to how she feels others see her (as in NOT 'normal'), which in truth tells us how she really sees herself.

Contrived humbleness is not attractive to me and, even by what you say, she brings nothing else personality wise into the mix.

I think this altogether is a very intrigueing thing. Louise has always had to deal with her beauty and other people's reactions to it, and maybe her saying she's down to earth and all that is due to the fact that she always has to say it out loud because other people cannot see past her beauty. And it's very interesting to see how the rest react to that beauty. Are they in awe, are they taken aback, do they try to connect with her or are they jealous? I have to say in all fairness that she hasn't said anything that spectacular or interesting in the house but I think she has a place in the house.

That's the part of it BB that does facsinate and intrigue me and one of the main reasons I do actually watch the show. I happen to like Louise, but am getting a bit fed up with her ramming home her message.

I watched and listened to her speak to Faye the morning after, to see that the very person who appears to fancy Aaron, then slates him as being weird - is she saying so little therefore, because she may trip herself up (which is what I think she did re: the weird comment).

Time will tell. Sometimes things are never quite as good as they appear to be - and from where I sit: Louise ticks many many boxes: which begs the question: why can't she get a man on the outside (if that's true)?

Maisy: her copycat act is a huge compliment - she obviously like Louise's style. Imitation as they say...

Interesting question. The only thing that I can think of is that she doesn't give anything away from herself. For example, we don't know what kind of men she's into, what are her hobbies, what she likes. She is kind of like a girl who's just present and says nothing. Kind of a trophy wife but to a totally different kind of men that usually want that sort of wife. I remembered she said something about musicians. I think she's too bland for them though. But really, I wonder what she expects from a man.

I haven't paid any attention to that but heard Louise mentioning it. I have to keep my eye on it but I was surprised, because I thought Maisy has her own style.

I was too. I wasn't sure if it was said to 'suss' out Faye's reaction - or if she meant it. She intially started that particular subject by looking at Faye, but then continued by looking towards her left and away from Faye..... which makes me think, it was less to do with gauging Faye's reaction, and more to do with her 'slipping up'. Who knows.

I do wonder if that is why. It may be that she is not asked out because she is incredibly boring, with nothing to give. I'm beginning to think that might be closer to the truth. The musician comment (I'm sure) was about her liking men who play the guitar, and I agree with your thoughts.

One thing that puzzles me. She has an amazing figure, serious looks brilliant. I know of not one woman who is able to have that figure and does not have to work to maintain in via diet, healthy eating, exercise etc. Yet this is the 'I'm a chips kinda girl'. Never hear mention anything about gym sessions, nothing.

she surely cannot be so devoid of any personality or have so very little to say that she passed the selection stages. BB could of course realise her popularity outside and keep all these little nuggets for when the effervescent manic wannabees run out of steam.

I thought so too, again, goes back to no live feed so we don't see much. I'd have thought, given Louise's age: that she would be well aware that it is a huge compliment, if Maisy has been copying. But again: that takes us straight back to the OP's point of it only being about Louise as in 'as far as the eye' sees.

Quite an enigma she is. Either that or she really is as boring as she is coming over.
