As for tom .... this is a tricky one , cause why would he think aaron giving him signals that he is gay/ bi sexual or what eva... not once have i seen aaron telling him he fancy him or led him on in anyway ....
think aaron problem is hes been to nice to not hurt tom feelings and its back fired on him terribly .....

I suspect with Faye it comes down to a bruised ego, rather than any true hurt feelings. I don't think she truly wanted Aaron (more likely Jay is her type) but she didn't want him to go for anyone else either.
As for Tom, my feeling is that he's a little confused about the game-of-chicken kiss with Aaron. He's read something into that moment. Aaron does give off a vibe of being gay or bi (whether true or not) and perhaps Tom is sensing that too and in his own mind has put himself into the position of 'bringing Aaron out'.
