Aaron said himself he was there to play the game,he told the truth I do NOT think though it includes Faye,I think he genuinely likes her ,more than he thought he would.

They all have a game plan. It is just the way Harry said it all just kinda threw Aaron under the bus. Even his answer to Jem's question was sad to hear. Aaron never tried to hurt Harry & was very supportive of him in the house so there was no need for him to declare that he does not want Aaron to win. I'm glad I didn't throw any votes his way this week now and just voted for Aaron.

Am gutted that his obviously played Aaron....I so liked Harry and thought he and Aaron were close.Has his jumped on the bandwagon....to think he mentioned Tom over Aaron to win....it does look like a stab in the back.

Harry played it perfectly and only went because Jem walked, if she didn't he would have been in the final.

Another supposed joke from Harry saying that Aaron was a producer supposedly on the show so no doubt someone out there will believe it.

Harry also said on tonights show that he had been in the house longer than he had known his GF.... 7 WEEKS THEN. To think that Aaron has been with Faye for pretty much 6 weeks bearing in mind the intensity...unyet Harry seemed to mock the 'and he has himself a girlfriend'.....Aaron probably knows more about Faye than Harry does his GF!!!.
Expected a bit more Aaron support Harry....so a tad disappointed. |

You have a very good point....I'm still genuinely unsure if he has some sort of 'showmance' gameplan but I do like Aaron precisely because he is so hard to read. Having said this, IF he IS playing a game, he would surely have walked away and wiped that particular strategy given the hassles it has carried with it, so I do think a POSSIBLE gameplan has misfired into developing feelings. I, myself, will hopefully make a clearer judgement IF he is separated from Faye in an eviction next Friday. Reason being, that is upset over Harry going was obvious......if he sheds tears for Harry, I will be interested how he reacts over himself or Faye going before the Final. |

It's certainly possible his feelings have gotten in the way of his plan, but i'm still seeing his plan in action so i doubt it. Also i wonder if the non stick drip stopped to look up and congratulate Faye for staying at any point. Be watching tomorrow for that. |

A psychologist would have a field day just TRYING to analyse Aaron's body language and little asides to camera. It's a good game and he thinks he's winning it!

And so we add another victim of the Teflon Kids game plan.
![]() Maisy Jay Anton Faye Gem Gem's Mum Big Brother And now the one man who was his ally has re-entered the real world and ended the games, and reveled the truth. Harry has told the public the truth and now what was a well liked man will have his name dragged through the mud to protect Tricky Dickies reputation as a good game player but not a cold, calculating, manipulator of Women. On the other hand he is hunky aint he. ![]() So on we go, is it real love he feels for Faye then, as he did say that in hl's? Last edited by Cromwell1900; 28-10-2011 at 11:44 PM. |

I liked Harry in the house but his comments were too flippant to work on BOTS. It was almost as if he'd devalued everything he'd experienced to the same low level.
As far as Aaron is concerned, I think for all the accusations of him being somehow fake because he's 'playing a game' (as others have said, if you're on a gameshow, playing a game is quite a good idea), his reaction to Harry leaving was totally genuine. It is a shame that people cannot accept that just because someone is able to play a game it doesn't mean that everything they do is phony. From what he said on BOTS, it seems Harry should be included in the group who don't entirely grasp that fact. Whilst it may be strategically good to have a relationship in the house, I think that Aaron probably does have some real and confusing (because they're real!) emotional stuff going on inside about Faye. As for the "I love you" thing, Harry may be right that it would be "good for a few more votes" but it went out after lines closed tonight. The BB-obsessed master-strategist that Harry has painted Aaron as being would surely have worked out that such a late-night utterance would go out at the end of a highlights show, which on a Friday night would be after voting had finished! Or maybe he just said it because he felt it...ooh, I'm so radical! |

You seem to be covering all the bases there, ultimately you are questioning Harry's perception of Aaron, and to do that you need to criticize Harry, and Gem, and Gems mum. Also if you think he was genuine in telling Faye he loves her, how do you explain a contra statement not 24 hours earlier when he said he did not see a future for them to BB. Truth is you can't in all sincerity. Nor can you deny the impact of Harry's confessions tonight in all sincerity. |

However, the crux of this (and it applies to Jem as well, to be fair) is that people are not generally one dimensional (although quite a few reality 'stars' seem to be trying to disprove this!). If there's one area which confuses people, it's probably love/romance, especially people who like to feel they have a firm grip on their life and where it's going. If we entertain the scenario that Aaron does have feelings for Faye, he may well feel "oh, there's no hope, she wants a Range Rover, it's all doomed!" one day and then the next realise that despite this he can't shake the fact that, actually, she still floats his boat. If it were all so simple, there'd be a lot more happy endings in life... And I'm totally aware that my current perceptions of the show could be wrong but that's half the fun of watching it! It evolves and challenges assumptions! |
