I also think the lack of a serious response to Jay's racist joke is indicative of the new 'downgrading' of racism.
Eg John Terry is still picked for England (and death threats to Anton Ferdinand), Suarez not reprimanded for alleged racist comments to Evra, Tiger Woods caddie getting a slap on the wrist for racist comments, Kelis being told to stop whingeing when she brings up racist comments at an airport, Kitty given a sympathetic PR spin on X-Factor and now Jay staying in BB house. His mum is just covering from him and the best excuse is he ticked the wrong box because he suffers from dyslexia but managed to read the rest of the form alright lol
