I don't really understand all the hate for Rebeckah. She was probably the second best housemate this year after Aaron.

Well I understand why people dislike her as a person but not as a housemate. The latter of which she was a great one, second only to Aaron this series. Anyone attempting to deny that and her obvious contribution to the show is quite frankly deluded.

The sheer fact there were so many discussions surrounding her whilst in the house proves that point to a tee, and you could argue that continuous threads like these also proves it.

Don't get me wrong, I could never be around her as a person, but to try and say that she didn't contribute a lot as a housemate is just plain stupid.

She was disliked by both housemates, and the voting public. That's not a hard concept to grasp.

As for the BIB.... there's no need to go around insulting people by saying they are deluded because they do not agree with your opinion.

As I've said many times before on this forum - the large majority of the voting public are illogical and deluded. They continuously evict entertaining housemates that contribute heavily each year, and we are left with the dullest of dull as a result. This leads to undeserving winners [Rachel Rice being a prime example] and lacklustre final weeks. They really don't have a clue generally, thankfully however they for once this year they crowned the most entertaining housemate the winner - and with any luck this will finally break their delusional trend, but somehow I doubt it.

To be quite honest, housemates nominating her is a prime example as to why she was a good housemate. It is these housemates that annoy the others that should be kept for entertainment value. You know, if people thought a bit more logically we'd have a lot more to discuss and watch, after all that is what this show is all about. Big Brother thrives on discussion and debate, if housemates that sparked these debates didn't exist, we would have very little to discuss - and ultimately the show would fall flat on its face. Sadly, most years, due to the terrible voting patterns, we are often indeed left with very little to discuss towards the end. It really doesn't make sense.

As for the last thing, I do it because each year I become increasingly annoyed with the fact that very few people seem to recognise this. They vote with their hearts and not their heads, which in a show like Big Brother does not work. If most people stopped judging the housemates as people and started judging them as housemates, and then voted accordingly, we would have a much greater show with lots more to talk about.

I despised Rebekah, I really did, but I still think she should've stayed in the house much longer as she really rocked the boat so to speak. Imo it was a shame she wasn't up with Aden, because it was their horrible "relationship" that people just didn't want to watch, and I bet he'd gone instead. I don't think she would've gone otherwise, not that early. Was much happier to see Tashie go before that, I could never have watched her all those weeks, not a chance. Rebekah wwas a great love-to-hate character.

Considering BB12 has only just finished, I am surprised just how little I care about many of the ex housemates already, apart from Aaron and Faye, although I liked Maisy also and hope she gets some work on the back of BB. Rebeckah could be engaged to Monachy and I wouldn't give a hoot.

That's a very thoughtful post but you have little chance of seeing your dream come to fruition.
In much more serious and important situations (eg General Elections) a lot of folk openly declare that they vote for someone who 'looks nice'.

The word some are seeking is misandrous, not misandric.
