Live streaming looks set to return with the new Celebrity Big Brother after Channel 5 added a show titled ‘Live From The House’ to its schedules.

Earlier today, it was confirmed that the series’ first evictions will take place on Wednesday 11th and Friday 13th January. The main show runs between 9pm-10pm on both nights, followed by Bit On The Side at 11pm.

New spin-off ‘Celebrity Big Brother Live From The House’ separates the two on both nights, airing between 10pm and 11pm on digital channel 5*. It is not scheduled on any other days.

Although details are yet to be announced, its name suggests that it will be an hour of live streaming.

The broadcaster angered Big Brother fans when it confirmed in August that it would not bring back the show’s live feed, which is widely regarded as an integral part of its format.

However, while this may give hope for a limited offering, the return of a full 24-hour feed remains unlikely

Probably 5 testing the water to see if increased transmissions would be popular. Could indicate they are thinking of increasing coverage from the house for the next series proper.

Maybe the use of "other media" for the show wasnt quite as successful as they wanted it to be

i just had a look at digiguide and there a show on 5* at 10pm-11pm on the 11 & 13 of January after each evictions show on channel 5
