I'm glad he's in the house and i hope it erases a lot of the stereotypical theories that a lot of the public have built up regarding sexuality.

disagree...what you say is dangerously simplistic and maianstream...him selling a book because hes gay wont make a darned difference to anyones opinions imho....the fact he seems to be financially exploiting his homosexuality loses him loads of credibility...to change peoples perceptions takes understanding communicating it takes time its learned its behaved....you may as well stick a poster on your wall for all the influence this has....it was common knowledge gareth thomas was gay for years and no one gave a damn,,,,...he brought up the story and hyped it up in all the papers and tv shows across UK and america ...just as he was retiring to sell a book which made him lots of money and humiliated those close to him baring endless secrets of other inocent people. cynical imho...ironically he went after gavin henson for writing his own book? hypocrite...hes no hero...but he was a legendary rugby player with 100 wales caps and several british lions caps so that alone makes him a celebrity.(but without the gay hype would he be here ? would there be a movie and huge book sales? NOPE)
