I'm not really sure what it was tbh I don't think it was overheating though because it was working normal then yesterday the ylod thing happened, I looked at a couple of websites and youtube vids explaining how to fix it but it's too much messing about so I'm not really bothered I will just bin it.

It's basically the really big budget blockbuster games like Call of Duty, Uncharted, Final Fantasy, Elder Scrolls ETC.

At best the PS3 is only getting announced this year, I remember reading that both Microsoft and Sony needed this generation to last until 2014 to make enough profit to make a new generation launch viable.

I'm betting on it arriving some time around Christmas 2013 at the earliest.

As Dezzy said, it'll still be about 2 years until they're released. 3 or so years until they're actually worth buying.

I bet it's compatible with PS1/PS3. I want to play my ****ing PS2 games on something. I don't have a third TV for my PS2 and I can't unplug the Wii (not that I want my PS2 in the living room anyway)

Yeah im skagging out to play PS2 games on my PS3..although the HD collections are obviously the reason for it they are still amazing...you used to able to play ps2 games but then they got rid of it for some stupid reason..all the older versions of the console have it ,
