Just adding onto this thread, instead of creating yet another duplicate: I'm off to visit my grandparents in Newcastle tonight until Tuesday, and am not sure if I will have any lengthy access to the Internet, if at all!

I've spent many a day in Stamford! It's cool, have lots of friends there, v. oldy worldy if that makes sense!

I live in Deeping St James (abt 10 mins from there) don't know if you've heard of it! Our claim to fame is holding an annual "Raft Race"!

Ohh my god I have friends there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There aint nowt wrong with raft racing.... Uppingham.... near us... have a bed race!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really love Stamford! Much better than Oakham which is where I live.... lots of old folk and not much to do!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't think you'd get very far very quickly racing beds!! I've been to Oakham too, I got on the wrong bus back home from Stamford hehehe!

There's not really that much to do in Deeping either though, not really a hive of activity to be frank!
