Because deep down he's actually a really nice guy and that was shown tonight when he cried as Arron left - what a loyal friend, I was definitely impressed. People thought the Bieber vote would keep Arron above Conor. That unfortunately doesn't acct for the increase in voting cost, so the purchase power of the Bieber demographic ain't what it used to be.
