Very true kazanne and also as I said earlier I don't think Conors answers to her were clearly controversial enough to be shown since we only got to see a very small snippet of the conversation.
Like others I dare bet he said a lot more as to the issue but clearly no argument came from it between them so it was likely in the main not considered highlight worthy.

It also seems that whatever his reasons were, Deana could likely make no challenge as to them,(and she would have done if she could have),since when they came out things were still calm and no one even referred to any of it.

Exactly, I have really tried to like her but like with my real favourites I can see the worng they do and not defend it, as well as see the good they do which I do defend.
With Deana though,anyone who criticises her is committing the crime of the century as to many she hasn't got a single fault, would never do anything against anyone and is all perfect. Well, no human being is that perfect.
Without a thought others favourites,other than Deana are hammered left right and centre which is fair game but no one must say a word against Deana,that is unfair and unjustified.

If Deana has people like that around her in real life outside the house no wonder she sees herself as superior,(which is not generally a good thing in people anyway), and looks down on others in the house so has, except for a few, found herself more isolated in the house.

I champion he as I don't feel she has ever done anything to warrant the abuse that has been levelled at her from conor, It is obvious it is purely due to the first night twist.
His underlying aggression even when having fun can be seen pulsating away and I actually find him quite unnerving to watch.
The whole house could breath a little easier if he were gone.

There doesn't seem to be any worship here. just people forced to defend her agsint the endless utter noncence that gets put about by a select few. which may make it seem that way. id defend anyone of them the same even those i hated.
deana is the best out of a very very awful group of people. i dont love her i like her as most of the others i despise.
personally i like her for standing up for herself while the others were too busy caring about winnning. plus most people would of walked in her position, grace under fire i think she's a decent person
the humour is also the most real in the house and natural among the outsiders. not forced i.e becky cono arron etc.
there's bad points but they are very minor. at present anything can change

I think it all comes down to the very first night of the show. Deana nominated Conor and he has never forgiven her for it. Since then, he's been constantly looking for revenge by attempting to turn people against her. Says quite a lot about him as a bloke that he can't just get over it.

I agree Conor was wrong,but he was called to the DR and called out for it,I have myself said things I didn't mean in the heat of the moment,I don't think for one minute he would actually carry out such a threat,but yes it was awful and it was wrong,but,I also agree with Joey,if anyone says anything slightly negative about Deana they get abuse,unlike the other Hms,what makes her so different? she has traits that are not nice like everyone else,i dont dislike her yet,but I doubt the only reason you support her is because she is 'graceful'some people see no further than the outside appearance,some people are building her up as though she is something she is not,she is human and DOES have flaws.

Called out for it?? I respectfully disagree. He was given a lecture, he mumbled an apology and he was off on his merry way. I sincerely hope that he learns that what he said was not acceptable and warrants serious repercussions for him in the real world. As responsible adults we simply cannot say those kind of things in the public sphere, and then expect people to forget about them when we offer a half-a$$ed apology and blame it on the heat of the moment. I don't think thats the case, although the reasons many have for disliking deana are rather suspect, like suggesting she bitches? EVERYONE in that house bitches the could form an olympic bitching squad and win a gold medal in it!
Of course she has, but on a sliding scale of 1 to nutty her flaws don't measure up to some in that house.
