carry on columbus...it got a 2.5 rating across all of the internet movie database.....very generous imho

some of the old ones like carry on camping were pretty funny imho...just harmless bawdy comedy. but clary has too much spite in him to be funny, the great funny men are outspoken but are not petty spiteful, laurel and hardy, harolyd lloyd, jerry lewis, richard pryor, billy connolly, bill hicks, chris rock , etc

You do realise he is there for the money right? Like Madsen last year, who had similar claims made about his personality, he simple doesn't care about the show. That doesn't make him sly or cold, it simply means he is keeping his work persona on a bit more than the others.

CBB is different from BB in that I don't want the most "real" person to win, I want the most entertaining people to win. Entertaining from my perspective at least. It's the reason I wanted Jedward to win, it's the reason I wanted Madsen to win, and it is now the reason I want Julian to win.

I don't think he's necessarily being anti-American, I DO think he is picking on easy targets though.

I"m very sensitive to anti-Americanism as most people arou d here know, and i don't think he's anti-American, i think he's offended that the Americans don't know who he is though, because ofcourse he's never had a career in America, and i think he is a bit bitter about that.

I think that all of the other (british) housemates would know who he is, and i think he was a bit offended that the Americans don't have the same reverence for him that he thinks he deserves.

well Ive watched british reality tv for a decade and the anti american pattern has continued throughout, especially with the mediocre celebrities like clary. i recall vic reeves being very disappojnting in the jungle, a famous british comic but he again didnt give the yanks a chance, I really dont know why the english have got such a chip on their shoulder about the americans. its sad. I recall the great sir anthony hopkins point this out one way. he said the english hated the fact he was going to hollywood to work and to live. he hated the stiffness and narrow mindedness of the west end and loved the open mindedness and opportunity he found in american. so much so he became mayor of a town, and took dual american/welsh citizenship

this anti american rhetoric has gone on on every english comedy show, quiz show, chat show for decades, now reality tv shows too
