He was injured following his heroic ordeal in the Andes mountains while filming a programme for Five.

If anything his appearing in the Games only served to highlight how heroic he actually is.

He may have come last, but his fighting spirit shone through in the Games, and the youth of Britain were inspired by watching Rickitt. He is a role model to many young people across the UK. He is not a knob.

He is not Adam Rickitt, but he aspires to Adam's level. As should all right-thinking people.

Adam Rickitt is not a "Z-list" celebrity as you so claim, he is in fact in the A-list of British television, with starring roles in Coronation Street, the Games, and an upcoming staring role in the 2007 series of Doctor Who, as the Doctor's companion Ben Chatham. The Moopy posters represent the voice of Britain's youth, and they hold Adam in high esteem, as does the television industry as a whole.

Surely everybody likes the Rickster?! He's, like, mega talented. It's just a question of whether Downing Street or Hollywood will beckon first.

I have not been "having a go", I have merely been backing up my points of view, whereas certain other posters on this forum appear to only have baseless criticism of him whicch stretches as far as "he is a knob". Please reinforce your arguments in the future. Many on here are weak, whereas mine is as strong as bonded-polycarbide.

Naturally you're entitled to your opinion. But I feel I must point out that seeming to be a Z list celeb, is in reality a far cry from actually being a Z list celeb.

Adam is about as far from Z list as the earth is from the Isop galaxy

It will be a close call as to which nets him first.

I am confused as to why you dislike him, as he is an extremely talented, beautiful and witty person, who has a great future ahead of him.

Moopy is an extremely popular website frequented by cool young people such as yourself. Their opinions are a good way to measure the success of a person, television programme, etc.
