It depends how much he spends. If he pays for everything, and offers you loads of drinks for free, then yes. If you pay for your own drinks then no.

If you refuse to let him pay for your drinks, he'll get the message very quickly.

It doesn't mean you can't still have sex with him, but if you pay for your own drinks it does mean that he can't EXPECT anything from you.

I'm not saying anyone should ever expect sex just cause they pay for drinks, but they do, so if you wanna make that clear, pay for your own drinks. That's the best way in my experience.
