Rooney is by far and away the best player in the prem however I still feel he never reached the heights he should.

Actually agree with you on this he for sure had the potential. And a lot like Wade with Lebron he took a step from Ronaldo for the best of the team(see what I did there) That being said still have not forgiven him for his actions that time Fergie was way to soft on him

I found it hard to forgive him too, but he genuinely played his heart out after that and played a huge role in winning us the title down the stretch. I think it was a case of frustration making him do something really stupid.

One thing you can never question is his work rate for the team he is a very unselfish player has played like a cm for us this year and you can see the blatant drop in standard when he is not playing
