Didn't like The Artist at all, just found it really boring and very "Oscars"-ish in a self-congratulatory sense.

My favourites so far from the decade're probably:

We Need to Talk About Kevin (personal favourite so far)
Tyrannosaur
Drive
Toy Story 3
Beginners
Midnight in Paris
The Kids Are All Right
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
The Help
The Social Network
Easy A
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Inception
Black Swan
Avengers Assemble
Red
The Cabin in the Woods
God Bless America
Super 8
Hanna
Bridesmaids
The Hunger Games

they're all the ones I've given 8 or more stars to on IMDb.

The Fighter
Sucker Punch
Hugo
Limitless
The Adjustment Bureau
Red Riding Hood
I Am Number 4
Hereafter
Paul
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Hannah
Super 8
The Next Three Days
Shutter Island
Bridesmaids

..there are quite a few more I'd like to watch so I think I'll make up a Christmas wish list.....

I loved some of the movies mentioned, especially Melancholia here are others I thought were great, and the first was released on late 2009, but I think that was for film festivals, it's main release was 2010

Cracks
Take Shelter
Winter's Bone
Rust and Bone
Martha Marcy May Marlene
Another Earth
Beasts of the Southern Wilds
The Perks of Being a Wallflower

Also a lot of these films are rather slow moving and pretty dark, so may not be everyone's cup of tea.
