When I first joined in 2010 after an inital amount of time reading and lurking before plucking the courage to register I first thought ''WTF what have I got myself into?'' at first, as when I first joined there was people arguing left, right and centre and here is newbie me trying to find my feet not trying to upset anyone.

The last 2 years have been calmer because everyone has been more about having fun on the forum and less arguing, or the loss of some really good members or people just spending less time on here in general due to focusing on RL stuff.

It's changed massively. I don't consider my join date as my actual join date in a sense. I only starting posting a lot in September/October 2010 so I think of that as when I really joined, and back then there seemed to be arguments happening every five seconds. Then after the five or so permabans that happened in late 2010 and early 2011 it seemed to quiet down a lot.

It wasn't until Autumn 2011 that I noticed any new conflict really. I think it's getting more.. tense on here though. Not bad like how it was before, but arguments are happening more easily than they used to imo.

I don't want to turn this into a mod bashing thread or anything, but there was a whole different mod team back then. It was 2010 all the new ones came in I think

Yeah, we got 5 new additions to our team; Dezzy, Nathan, Josy, Niamh and Iceman.

Before that it was just really me, Vicky, Zee and Marc. Rory was occasionally on, 30stone didn't really appear, Princess and Lauren had stepped down and Sia never really came back after the switch over of the forum which meant she never got reinstated back as a mod.
