Ethnicity is also a part of "people being people" is it not. I may be a tad naive I really do not understand what all the fuss is about. Since when did ethnicity become something to be hidden? I am caucasian and would not be insulted by anyone referring to that fact where ever in the world I have lived which has included Africa , Asia and Northern India.

It may also be that Asian Pharmacists are no more corrupt than Caucasian ones. An interesting aside - is it possible only Asian Pharmacists were targeted in this "journalistic" investigation, would that be racist ? Even in an area where there are no caucasian ones?

Perhaps every news story should indicate whether the "alleged" perpetrator is "white" "asian" "african" "afro-caribbean" "multiple or mixed".

Hey we could go really PC and also include age groupings and religions. That way we would find out if Jedis commit crimes too.

I dont really care if they are Asian, Eskimo, afro-caribbean or caucasian, if they didnt discriminate in who they sold the drugs to, does it really matter?

No, I am saying they are Asian , this may or may not be coincidental it may have no bearing on the story whatsoever. But it is a detail that should be mentioned without fear of being accused of putting a racial slant on the story. The racial profile is clearly already there.
