I agree, which is why I am glad Rio is no longer in the England squad now but I still blame Roy for the shambles of how he treated him last time. I'm not bothered about England much now but watch just to watch the United lads now mainly!

If that was England fans singing it about Gerrard if he walked out on the National team then you'd be loving it, **** him i say, his reasons for withdrawing were pathetic

No I wouldn't even if he plays for Liverpool, chants like that are pathetic anyway and I understand that the fans wanted to vent their frustration but fickleness has always been part of football.

That's one of the famous United songs about scousers.

Not sure why it's appropriate for united fans, but England fans are mugs. If one is OK, then surely the other is too?

That song originated with United fans, and at any home game you will hear the full array of Liverpool songs. It's not a case of having a few twats unfortunately.

Just a bit baffling that united fans would moan about this song being sung about a united player.

Liverpool have the Munich song, that gets a rare airing by a few twats when we play you. United get free reign for the whole stadium to sing these week after week. Sorry, it's not the same.
