Oh well, I wasn't gonna be coming back to England, I was just gonna stay out there until the summer but worked out I could afford coming back for my birthday so I decided to have a huge party! (which the weather over here will ruin) But I guess its nice to see people and have warm showers too!

And seeing the lion was incredible! The tree was probably about 10 feet away, and he was probably about 20 feet high, so yeah, he could have probably killed us! I was in the car with 5 other people though and I guess we weren't thinking straight because instead of closing out jeep roof we all got out our cameras! It was pretty surreal!

..yeah, I get that..the excitement of seeing the lion close up like that would take over any fear..that must be the most incredible experience..if he had eaten you, at least it would have been one of the most amazing last sights ever lol....I'd love it if you made a thread of all your photos...

...oh, I hope you have a fabulous birthday..even if it is outdoors and the weather isn't so good, I'm sure you'll still have a wonderful party with seeing all of your friends again like that...it's outdoors..?...you could put up some sort of a cover/gazebo type thing and it should be ok...you've looked a lion in the eye so I don't think the British climate will phase you lol....
