Yes, I understand that, I was referring to his 'on-off' reference to the girlfriend and how he didn't want that to spoil his fun in the house.

Well, she "won" him away from the one before her so she probably knows the score. Anyway it seems they are not the only two, now three, who have been after a bit "extra".

Some people do have on-off relationships or "take a break" during which they see other people.

It happens, and everyone should be adult enough to handle that, IMO.
