For me, personally, it is different because I don't believe it... I believe it is part of his game plan, and I think a lot of what he does is a game plan (which I like btw - I'm not saying that is a bad thing) so I wouldn't be surprised if him and his GF discussed it all before he went in and therefore she knows there is nothing in it etc. Also, it was just words. That isn't great, but at least he isn't all over her... unlike another certain someone!

Whereas, Daley and Hazel seem more genuine (although, I am not sure it is genuine from Hazel's side, but I do believe it is from Daley's). And, they haven't just had discussions... they have been extremely touchy feely, they cuddle all the time, he tells everyone he has an effing hard on when she does things... It is just all wrong... and his poor GF needs to sit and watch it!

What does her 'test' have to do with anything? If she said he was free to do as he pleases in the house then he isn't being a bad guy at all. Hazel and Daley know the GF is there and are doing really disgusting things she ends up watching on TV. They are trash to do that.

Dexter and Charlie's realtionship is nowhere near Daley and Hazel's. I do think his fans are a bit hypocrite sometimes, but you can't compare the two situations.

Because basically Charlotte isn't his actual girlfriend but probably one of his 'paid' girls which he has brought up numerous times. Also, he stated in the beginning that she gave him a 'hall pass' to do whatever in the house. The other difference is that Hazel was the one making advances on Daley knowing full well that he spoke about how much he loved his girlfriend. It's not against the law for Dexter to decide that he likes another girl and end his relationship. Charlie isn't the one making advances on Dexter. If Daley had been the one to pursue Hazel vehemently and state that he doesn't want to be with his girlfriend any longer and they actually had a serious discussion about it, it wouldn't be as disgusting as Hazel all but raping a man who stated he was in a serious relationship.

Yes, but his girlfriend did admit on BBOTS that she had given him the hall pass. Whether she ment it as a test is unimportant. She told him he could do what he wanted, so she can't complain when he does.
