Now she has to worry about what kind of reception she will get from the baying crowd on her eviction.

This Hazel hatred is so unjust. If it was the horrible Charley Uchea or any of the other vile housemates from previous series I would understand. If I didnt like Hazel I would give very valid and CORRECT reasons why. Calling her a home wrecker??? really???? Other names she has been called have been the worst I have seen in my years in these forums. There is huge support for Gina who laughed in Hazels face when she had to wear the costume and laughed in the diary room saying how the public got it sooo right. Then when the housemates were saying they were feeling sorry for Hazel Gina went all quiet and I hoped she was feeling the same but oh no. She was asking why they were suddenly feeling sorry for Hazel when she Gina had had to endure stuff also!!!!

So let me get this right...if it was a housemate that you thought of as vile or horrible then the treatment would be ok? because that's what this post sounds like to me.

Its never just to call people vicious horrible names. That said I could understand why people didnt like Noirin or Keeva as they were sly and conniving for the most part. I havent seen that in Hazel so you have misunderstood what I was saying Josy By the way I liked both Noirin and Keeva but they both had quite nasty sides so I wouldnt have defended them if people didnt like them. However there are other words to use to denote you dont like a housemate besides some of the appaling words that have been used on here

Not everyone uses appalling words or names though and post exactly why they don't like Hazel but yet these threads are constantly popping up about how much hate she's getting, have you actually seen the hatred some of the other housemates are having aimed at them? namely Callum and Dexter but yet theres more threads about the Hazel hatred being unfair than anyone else.

Also today I have saw people saying Gina was to blame then Dexter was to blame now it's Emma?? don't you think people could possible have watched Hazel on the show for weeks and simply made their own minds up about her??

I honestly think most of these threads are a case of being pissed off that the housemate you like is not liked by the public..

Lots of housemates over the years have been called nasty names too, when they sign up for bb they obviously know not everyone is going to love them it's part and parcel of the show, they will be evicted booed for a bit then it will all die down and be forgotten about..

I held my hands up when Hazel was over doing the flirting and I felt embarrassed watchin it and I said so. It put her to my second favourite on my list of housemates which she had topped since week one. I am open to negative comments about my favourite housemate of course I am but the kind of stuff on here is dreadful and I just cant see the justification for it. Hazels problem was she flirted too much with Daley and kept asking for hugs but this was ONLY after Daley telling her he didnt have a girlfriend anymore. Yes she teased him in the safe house, no doubt about that but no matter what she didnt deserve what he did to her and in the eyes of anyone surely he deserved being thrown out of the house. Hazel is no saint and I have never proclaimed her to be but I just have never seen anything like the threads here calling her all kinds of names, the audience and panelists on BBBOTS and their complete and utter loathing of her

But Riona, you have called ex hm Ashleigh a 'slapper', and you have said Gina sits there 'caked in makeup' with her fake hair, and her 'fake tits hanging out' everywhere, you have also called Gina a 'tart' who wears the most 'slapperish' clothes you've seen, and also called her a horrible 'whinging bitch'.
You consistently comment rather harshly about Gina yet when someone criticizes Hazel, you say that they are just 'Jealous, jealous, jealous' as if that could be the only reason aside from the Daley flirting.

Would you not find it irritating if every time you said you didn't like Gina, you got dismissed as being 'just jealous'?

Like Josy, I also didn't like Hazel much long before the Daley situation.
I don't hate her, I just don't find her very likeable. Any time I warm to her it's usually when she is a bit tipsy and joking about. I liked watching her and Dan or her and Charlie having a laugh together because you see glimpses of a fun girl. I also feel a bit sorry for her lately.

However the majority of the time she has just too hard of a personality. It is good to show strength and confidence but there is no need to go overboard and be too hard. It makes her come across like a cold person, who is just focused on themselves/career and who might be a bit ruthless.
I watched her tonight on live feed telling Charlie that she was deliberately restricting herself from crying or showing any emotion. If she was less hardnosed and showed a warmer side to her personality and stopped with the tough act I think people would warm to her a lot more.

She doesn't bother me too much. I'm disliking Sophie way more at the minute. But I hate that people who don't like Hazel just get accused of being jealous. For some that may be the case, but for plenty others they just have their own reasons for not liking her. It is defo not just to do with the Daley situation. [For the record I think he is a prick] People disliked her before the flirting too.

I've never 'hated' her but I've warmed a bit more than usual to her recently. I'm aware though that this may be just because I feel a bit sorry for her.

Both parties committed assaults. One of Hazel's would probably be classed as indecent assault, which is normally considered serious and (possibly) more serious than a threatened, but not carried out, head butt.

I think you are totally wrong. Hazels actions were NOT indecent assault. Sexual incitement I think you will find. He would be laughed out of court with such a ridiculous claim. He struck her and threatened her with violence, both criminal acts.

Wrong. Hazel did not commit an assault. Daley commited the assault along with verbal thtreats.

Hazel was genuinly play fighting with a man unil then she trusted. Pants pulling is probably one of the most done thing in play fights. True they were on TV and drunk and a slip of the memory about cameras made it an offensive thing to do in front of the public.

But remember it can only be offensive to the public if the TV station chooses to broadcast and not censor it.

If the public have been offended CH5 is to blame.......

The police are sometimes forced into the position of doing something by force of public opinion.

There was a time when they would almost never intervene in a 'domestic'. That has changed somewhat but there is still a reluctance where there hasn't been a complaint from one of the parties.

You can bet your bottom dollar that neither Daley not Hazel will lodge a complaint unless their respective PR people advise them to - which they certainly wont.
