I think his ongoing disregard for Rachel now is just his BB schtick and purely mined for comedic purposes. He was an awsome personality in BB but he probably knew full well that had he stayed (over the even more awesome Rex) he would have lost anyway.
Yes Rachel was dull (only BB4 Sissy and Gos were more dull) but she never put a foot wrong to make anyone dislike her for anything other than being dull. She was 100% nice that it was impossible to hate her.
