Dexter has been a good housemate apart from the Charlie fixation nonsense and the accursed love triangle.
However, the best thing to do as to Dexter is not believe a single thing that comes out of his mouth, just accept him for the fantasist he is.

He is going to learn quite a lot when he gets out. He will find that BB has the housemates already lined up and they cannot just go off selling stories. If Dexter does there will probably be a time lag for him and he will find no one is interested. They are not even in the Daily Express this year and that owns the programme.

He has blotted his copy book with the most bankable housemate, Hazel cannot see anyone being interested in the others.

What do you think he meant by saying that?

I think it was a very telling thing for him to say tbh and I think when he gets out of the house he will be selling stories to anyone that's willing to pay for them and for him to say before that he doesn't care about the money and it's all about this personal journey then drop a line like that it makes him look bad.

Now before anyone says 'who cares I would sell stories too' etc then that's all fine but he keeps going on about it all being about his journey and how the house has changed him for the better and so on.

Yeah Josy, of course you are correct, but did you ever expect anything less?
...and do you really think that any of the others are any less 'reward-minded'?
Of course Dexter's "journey-spiel" is just part of his game-plan...it is afterall a tried and tested feature of this competition!
I do not support Dexter for any miss-seen altruism ...but rather for the pure entertainment he has consistently provided throughout the series!

Another great line from Dexter, he clearly cares about the financial state of Charlie and wants her to be well off when BB is over and go on to live a good life so he is giving her some great advice to make a bit more money, save everything for the interviews which will pay well
