IT'S A GAMESHOW.

A. Gameshow.

GAME-SHOW.

Like seriously, don't try and make judgements about what kind of people I like and associate with in real life when you know absolutely nothing about me. This is a TV show. An entertainment television gameshow, what's not to understand about that? Lying and being greedy are all bog standard traits shown on most gameshows...Big Brother is no different

You need to differentiate between television and real life, there's a big and blindingly obvious distinction

Do I like people with bad values who lie, what? This isn't real life, it's an entertainment TV gameshow...if I support someone who lies in gameshow either to win money or to try and progress further, that doesn't mean I condone that sort of behaviour in the real world, where's there's real life issues to contend with...surely that's obvious Big Brother the TV gameshow and real life are very different, the two couldn't be further apart
great post Jack

If it was a fix they wouldn't constantly give him bad edits. The public have saved him every week but I suppose channel5 are fixing the vote lines.

LOL if you think Big Brother is reality then I'm lost for words, that's another explanation needed altogether

You really don't get it do you? Why is it so difficult for you to make a distinction and stop making judgements and accusations about what kind of people I like in the real world when you know nothing about me? I mean it's really quite simple, this is TV...and...um...when I turn the TV off...it's real life. TV...real life...TV...get it? A gameshow...real life...gameshow...real life. I could go on.

To be quite honest, if you can't make the distinction then good luck to you

Is living in an specially designed house set inside a TV studio for 10 weeks with a bunch of strangers partaking in an elimination format with both inside and outside control whilst being unaware of what's going on in the real world (well, at least that's the fundamental principle) and all the while second guessing what deliberately engineered 'twists' the producers of said TV show will come up with to provoke certain emotional responses reality?

You'd have thought it would be easy to work out, I'm astounded to be quite honest

you just don't get it do you? these are human beings right? the money is real too? you understand the Ł100,000 isn't monopoly money right? its not a soap opera its reality tv real people...if you want to watch pretend actors like dexter being evil go watch dallas or eastenders....this is reality show with real people...this scenario was real and it was a test of character, which your hero dexter failed miserably. hes now been proved to have lied about friendships, about caring for anyone in there, every single thing hes said he stood for has been exposed with shallow selfishness and the worst acting ever witnessed on british tv...that you fall for it and look up to such a vile creature is your problem....I go with decent people every time....good guys come first

Human beings placed into a false and contrived environment with deliberately engineered twists being implemented that are designed to provoke a plethora of emotions, whilst living with a bunch of strangers in a specially and deliberately designed television studio that has an elimination format at its core with both housemate and public control? Yeah, that sure is reality. I don't know what kind of life you live but my day-to-day life isn't that exciting or drama filled.

The money may have been real, but it's also a gameshow. No one's entitled to the money if it's offered up to them...are you seriously suggesting everyone should've just turned down the likes of Ł88k? If this was a different twist I guarantee 95% of all housemates would have taken some money, that's human nature.

Why would you care if he's lied about friendships, and is playing a game in a gameshow? I also don't understand why the housemates get so wound up about it, they entered a gameshow yet are criticising people for potentially playing the game? That's ****ing moronic. It isn't real life, if they aren't wary of the friends and alliances they're making in there then more fool them to be quite honest.

I don't 'look up' to Dexter, these are people on a television show for Christ sake, what are you on about? Dexter's contributed a lot to this series and your endless posts about him only prove that.

I mean I can't actually believe what I'm reading here. Never before has this t-shirt been so relevant:

Couldn't put it any better... If the house was filled with Sams BB would get cancelled as he's not entertaining therefore proving it's an entertainment show, some people don't have a brain.

you like liars I don't. you think that's entertaining I don't. this is vast amounts of real life changing money, he tried to tip them all off by faking friendships and sam caught him out. well done Samson he is the moral victor and beta the liar at his own game. big respect now he deserves to win the proze as hes been more honest more decent and also outplayed the lying scrote you admire so much.

Jesus ****ing Christ I'm losing the will to live

I DON'T LIKE LIARS. STOP MAKING ASSUMPTIONS ABOUT MY CHARACTER WHEN YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME. k thanks

It's a gameshow, he lied. Wow...**** me, who'd have though it? Lying in a gameshow eh? Bet you'd never see that on Golden Balls...oh wait

He doesn't deserve to win the prize because Big Brother isn't a charity, he's contributed next to nothing to the series and would be the worst winner of any TV show ever created in Britain. You're making sh*t up that hasn't even happened now.

And for the last time...I DON'T ADMIRE ANY OF THE HOUSEMATES, THEY ARE CHARACTERS IN A TELEVISION SHOW THAT IS CONTRIVED AND IS A GAMESHOW, THEY BEAR NO RELEVANCE ON MY REAL LIFE SO STOP MAKING OUT THAT THEY DO

bye

Also voting for the 'nice' people to win is the reason why we have so many bad winners. You should vote for the most entertaining person. Nice Dullards shouldn't ever come close to winning in BB. It's an entertainment show, not an indepth look at morality.

Dexter wasn't lying. When he said he looked at the board to make a decision, and everyone said 'why didn't you choose 99,000 then' he clearly stated all he saw (as in all that was important to him in his eyes) was 4s and 8s. He scoured the board for those numbers. Not any others. It's possible to miss certain numbers when you're not actually looking for them...

And before anyone says that's a convenient lie, he was looking at 4s and 8s because it's his hardwired gambling mentality to go for superstition and lucky numbers. Hence going for 88,800, 8 is considered to be lucky to the Chinese. People are so determined to hate Dexter they just jump to unsubstantiated conjecture. As another comment had said before, you'd have to be a gambler to understand.
