Nothing wrong with differing opinions however no need for the constant nastiness

The bitterness from non-Sam fans are adding to the great victory of SAMBO!

Didn't Sam say Dexter didn't deserve a place in the final?

And you're talking about people being bitter?

Sam puts another nail in the Dex coffin, even when he's left the house.

Indeed. Never mind, hopefully Sam will disappear without trace now.

The true winners are Dexter and Gina, not someone who just got the sympathy vote.... plus another chunk "cos he looks like Harry Styles".

True winner?

Is that another way of saying I can't take who the public chose to win so I'll invent a little competition In my head where the person I support wins and all is great.

Congratulations on your win!

Symphathy vote? I didnt want Sam to win because he had a disability. I just didnt want Dexter or gina to win.

I actually liked Gina through the best part of the series but she turned nasty towards the end and a part of her, that should have remained hidden, reared its ugly head.
Dexter, well i never warmed to him at all, he played a game which did not sit comfortably with me and the one trait i dislike the most is lying, and he was caught out several times doing exactly that.
They both may have been the topic of many a discussions and had a lot of air time but that doesnt make them winners in my eyes.

I would have rooted for anyone in the top 5 remaining to win apart from Dexter or Gina.....

I felt bad for Sam, if you look at the interviews he was really struggling. Lip reading takes a lot of concentration and with all the noise around him I bet it made it even harder. Completly agree this was a challenge for him. He's also just 23...you can't expect all of this maturity from him. Dexter had experience in PR, he knows how to charm (I think his great for it). I wish my girl Gina had won, but I'm glad Sam got it.

My whole point of this thread is nicety winning over nastiness.

There was a lot of back biting, bitchiness, lying, manipulation and plain nastiness that went on in the house throughout the series. It wasnt just one isolated case but pretty much the whole show. It was just nice to see that these people were not rewarded with a large amount of cash for their antics.
These were real people in the house, not actors reading from a script, so to reward someone for what i saw as bad behavior would have been a travesty.

I

The Big Brother producers deliberately destroyed Gina - they didn't want her to win. They deliberately stirred up animosity between Gina and Hazel to reduce Gina's popularity.

I actually didn't see it like that; at worst her eviction was a damp squib-she lasted longer than Hazel, she didn't get as badly booed, and the booing stopped once she'd left the house, whereas virtually everytime Hazel was even mentioned or show on the big screen some idiots were abusive.

She wasn't criticized for the way she treated her either so I really think she got off really lightly-she probably spent some of last night at the party they all went to rubbing Hazel's nose in the fact that she made it to the final whereas Hazel didn't.

BB should've allowed Hazel to even the score in some tasks where she got power over Gina or just throw the vile woman out of the house.

Agreed - I am genuinely shocked by what some people 'see' when they watch the show.

Gina was clearly given preferrential treatment in the house - but at the end of the day, it was her own jealous, bitchy behaviour and delusions of grandeur that lost her the show.

Gina destroyed herself. She could have kept her mouth firmly shut as regards Hazel and not risen to the bait. Unfortunately Gina is used to getting her own way and this trait showed to the max with her outbursts and simple hatred of Hazel. It didnt need the producers to bring about what happened between Gina and Hazel. Hazel was gunning for her the minute that she knew she was heading out the door after hearing all the booing...Hazel gave Gina the ammunition to shoot herself in the foot and to show her true colours.
I liked Gina through most of the show and at one point wanted her to win, but she let herself down regardless of what the producers did to exacerbate a situation. She had a choice, play the game or back off....she made the wrong choice.

You could also say the same about Callum and Dexter...Sam and Sophie. They pitted rivals against each other. The thing is Sam was the only one not to rise to the bait enough so that it would interfere with his chances of winning the show.

But he did though didn't he! Just the production team decided to leave the evidence on the cutting room floor.

Last Saturday's highlights show didn't show Sam, Charlie and the Twins ganging up on Dexter last Friday night though, did it?

Then clearly that must apply to more people than share your opinion. Where exactly was Gina's 'character' - she simply acted like a jealous, spoilt bitch. She spent 99% of her time between bitching on the prettier girls and looking in the mirror and trying to make herself look as good as those she hated.

She is a typical example of the stereotype 'Barbie doll', whose tiny little mind thinks of nothing other than her looks and those of the other girls around her. She couldn't even do that with any class. That is certainly not my idea of 'character'.

It is far from sour grapes, so far as I am concerned.

I didn't really mind who won - even Charlie or the Twins. So long as it wasn't Sam because I felt such an unworthy winner spelled doom for the future of BB.

It's an open invitation to contestants to do nothing...... so long as they can get the sympathy vote because of some physical problem.

BB15, assuming they bother to have it, could be unwatchable.
