For it not to be mentioned at all by anyone suggests only one thing to me: Gina didn't want anyone to know because 'struggling actress' does not fit well with the 'life of idle luxury' narrative.

All I'm saying is I think that her story regarding her wealth might be true, could be lies either who knows? I just can't brand her 100% a fake on what I have seen, whereas some people are adamant that she is fake either with little proof, or else with proof that I have not yet seen myself.

(As an aside I don't think her trying to act/model/be in a girlband rules her out as being wealthy. A person could be extremely wealthy but still have a dream of being an actress/singer or just 'famous' really)

Her family may have money now but she certainly wasn't born into a family with money and definitely did not complete all her education at private schools.

If she wanted people to believe that she had been born into a family of wealth and privilege then she really shouldn't have created a really bad posh accent (kind of like a Paris Hilton but with a slight upper English accent), acted like she was ignorant to everyday things such as pub food, train destinations and taxi ranks and walked around with her tits hanging out and clothing that barely covered her dairy aire.

She is only with Ecksell 18 months, twitter feed started 2 and a half years ago.

Paris Hilton was born into wealth and a privileged lifestyle, her family could afford the best education for her, she could hire any personal stylist etc., and yet what happened?

Paris Hilton certainly ever came across as well educated/intelligent when younger , also went around in scanty clothes muttering "omg", and "that's hot", and also seemed completely ignorant to everyday things such as how to use a microwave. Just obsessed with her looks, makeup, clothing, ad 'hot guys'. So she is actually proof that being wealthy doesn't automatically mean someone will be well educated, and elegant looking.

EDIT: Paris Hilton has also done a reality tv show, acting and attempted a singing career.
Just because she's mega wealthy didn't stop her from doing small bits of acting, tv, and music. Doesn't make her a 'fake' wealthy person for doing these things.

Not to mention that side of her life in or out of the house is the biggest clue in some ways: she doesn't want anyone to realise the 'rich girl' thing is just an act.

Ironic really - because if Gina could actually act there would never have been all this doubt in the first place.

What about research - a good actress does her research. If you are going to pretend you are rich - you damn well make sure you look and sound the part.

If she really is an aspiring actress - then the best advice for her - is to give it up now.

The most likely scenario is that she is just one of many that suffer from delusions of grandeur because they cannot come to terms with who they really are.

I predict "Gina Rio" will cease to exist after that persona has served its purpose. She'll keep it going until the spotlight is off her.

It's possible one of the trashmags may want to do an article about her lifestyle. It's the type of thing which would fit in well with that genre of rag.

It's not a fraud. This is a reality tv world now. Dexter already admitted to his "sugar daddy" character. He's been playing it for a while too. Dexter played the whole "get an article in the newspapers and get on a reality show" game just like Gina did. For goodness sake, even Callum played a character (ladies man). She has obviously been working at the "Gina Rio" character for some time - tweaking things as necessary. However, the Gina Rio character is not that hard for her to pull off for a long period of time because it is simply a mega-wealthy version of herself, and it is obviously the person she always wanted to be.

Gina Rio is rich. Georgina Shant'e Reid is NOT rich. You can do minimal research in public records and find her mother, brother and herself reside in a council flat. This all came out when the first articles appeared. The only home owned by the family was in Islington (Sold in April 2013), and it was a modest one bedroom home that was available to rent in November 2012 for 550 per month. I don't feel comfortable including the addresses here, but you can easily find them online.

There is evidence from the former band about how she got in the band WHEN SHE COULDN'T EVEN SING!!!! - and then claimed racism when she was booted. That is an actress. There is also evidence from her own mouth that she studied acting since age 5 (along with numerous casting websites showing her 'resume' and cheap looking photos.)

Other neighbors from the council flat have come forward saying it was her, and other people have come forward (actually numerous) saying that she drove a beat up Peugeot (I think it was a Peugeot - it was a beater anyway...)
Instead of pretending to come from a wealthy family, she pretends to come from a MEGA-RICH family. No one has heard of father Paul's construction company, and they have only heard of the rapper boyfriend because of Gina.

The odds of a 24 year old British girl born in Enfield who has never been to a pub, ridden a bus or ridden a train have to be astronomical. However, Gina's mother sent her to the most public experience of her life IN A CAB! It came out of her own mouth. If you have never been on a bus or train and you are going on Big Brother, you would not go in a cab with the kind of wealth Gina is talking about.

In terms of education, there is no evidence of posh schools or upscale education of any kind. She studied acting and performing.
There is also tons of additional evidence on these boards and on the internet.

Gina Rio is a character. All the Big Brother people know it, and she even answers questions to Emma and AJ in a haughty voice. They are all playing along. Sure she is going to have some trappings of success in the coming months and might even make some money (I hope so), but you can't use that as an excuse to prove her vast "wealth"

And...do we even need to talk about the wealthy put-on "accent." A quick youtube search finds the fake posh accent is not there, and Gina adds and deletes here posh accent in different situations. In her finale interview, the fake posh accent was on full display.

One more thing - if your family is so rich and you are living off your family with 18-20k per month hotel bills and tens of thousands in allowance each month, why would you change your name. Why not embrace Georgina Reid - why create Gina Rio??? Because it is a character, and she wants to live the character Gina Rio's life for as long as she can.

If that "Spin off Show with Dexter Koh" gets the go ahead then Channel 5 were DEFINITELY complicit on perpetrating a fraud on the British public with both Gina's and Dexter's fake stories.

Edit: I can foresee a flood of complaints to OFCOM as well as multi requests for a refund of phone call money
