Something I've noticed is the screen to the right. In every picture posted showing it, it is in its open state. Someone suggested this was a new doorway, but it's always been able to open like that as with the same screen on the opposite side. But a couple things to back this up is the position of the strobe lights between the 2 screens as they are closer to the screens than the ones on the left side of the stage . There also looks to be a camera coming through the opening which might mean some new camera angles.

Okay so I'd still have liked a new set but I've liked the minor changes they've made, and the new camera angles look really good tonight

The X Factor USA live shows have started atm and they have a new set (which is strangely almost exactly how I've always wanted ours to look)

Anyway it looks amazing

Looks flawless, the X makes all the difference. And they way they have one person in the category standing on each arm, I'm guessing for some kind of vote, I can't

Yep, they're doing the same twist we had in series 8 where each judge cuts one act to make a top 12 before America starts voting next week. They've done it each season over there I believe

So the four in each category stands in one corner, and it lights up white if their mentor picks them to go through

Will be interesting to see how they do the actual results next week

It seems to work pretty well over there in comparison to how it flopped here (Amelia I'm looking at you).

I'm guessing one category on each arm of the X for the voting proper. Will look flawless though

They also showed one VT of the Mentor with the acts of their catergory and then went straight into the performances. With the Typical Glamshot and Mentor Introduction.

If the UK version really is renewed till 2016, our set better be like this next year. It reminds me of the Wembley/Liverpool set from our past 2 finals

I think it'll continue next week, except the acts will walk out the monitor like usual to their corners.

I missed the start of the show, did Mario/the judges walk out of the double door in the middle as usual?

And the top left and right corners of the X have monitor doors leading from them don't they?

Just Mario after a dialogue where he introdcued the catergories from backstage. then came out from the middle screen. I dunno about the side screens.

Also the mentor's category name is still there on the table from the 4 chair challenge.

Yeah I don't see the point, make the desk look cluttered and it's not as if the acts are going to forget who their mentor is.

I don't either but I guess it's there because people are used to the Voice. They sort of do it on the US version when an artist performs there's a Team *Coach's Name* in the lower left corner.

I think the reason why the X is more prevalent this series is because of the Voice's Mic.

(The US version is very popular overhere)

Oh and when an act was announced safe, the corner they stood on turned white and they played the stinger,

The Voice seems massively popular over there, our version will be lucky if it lasts one more series. The BBC just don't know what to do with it so it's flopped

The US Version has two seasons a year in fact.

Fall has Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Ceelo green
Spring has Shakira and Usher replacing Christina and Ceelo

There'll probably more artists rotating in and out as the show goes on.

It'll be interesting to see Series 3 of ours with Kylie instead of Jessie J. Will.i.am and Tom Jones are still there so it's a better line up this time I think. Not that that ever did anything for The X Factor.

The Voice UK just has terrible production values and is ultimately dull, say what you want about Syco shows but one thing they are is very slickly produced
