..I just think that any 'jokes' about anyone else's appearance from Joan is more than a little ironic, so doesn't come across with humour at all...and if she was 'sincere' in what she said then I'll presume she was sincere in what she said about Adele as well...so she's saying Adele is overweight, and should lose some...?...Adele is beautiful just as she is....

..but whatever you feel about Adele's choices in career/motherhood etc..that hasn't got anything to do with her weight or Joan making it the subject of her humour because those aren't the things she was 'joking' about, it was specifically Adele's weight, which to me is absolutely fine....I think if you're a comedian who is quite acerbic and scathing in your humour and especially when it's largely based on appearances, then you should be a little less self absorbed in your own looks, yourself and been a slave to plastic surgery for it to be 'funny' in any way and not come across as quite ridiculous from her....

Being fat isn't a bad thing, and neither is having a baby.
