Sam C is clearly getting the teenage girl vote so it doesn't really matter what Louis says if he keeps getting the votes there's **** all Louis can do about it.

..if Louis did think that then why did he choose him, if Sam had started to slate the programme or Louis himself as a mentor, I can imagine Louis giving him a lecture about depriving someone else of an opportunity to be there etc...but that's what he's done himself by choosing him if he doesn't think Sam should be there...

I don't think the judges do the choosing. Producers do.

..yeah, you're probably right, Vanessa but it's made out to the public that they do, so it still makes Louis look stupid...it's probably better to be a weak singer than an idiot...

He's not even that bad, but people just love having someone to vilify every year. should get further then Luke anyway.

I don't think he is particularly bad either, he isn't by any means a good singer but he has a fairly good voice and also puts a great deal of effort into his performances and he is,in my view, an instantly likeable guy who has a really good attitude even when getting some really harsh and unjustified criticism.

Anyway I am surprised at Louis on this but then, maybe it is an attempt to get more votes rolling in for Sam C.
I've seen a faur few singers who are really poor when singing live,however their performance makes up for a lot.
The X Factor should be about more than just the voice,otherwise the title X Factor is meaningless,may as well just have something like the Voice series on BBC.
