I think these shops are an okay idea, Having the need for them is another matter.

It also has to be remembered, we are 'told' this is food that would otherwise be thrown out and discarded.
I am sorry but I have little trust in what I am told lately.

Somehow, it seems this is something that in the background is largely at the mercy of the big supermarkets, if supermarkets really start to lose business from those on benefits then my guess is these 'unacceptable' goods such as being due to labelling errors etc; will soon start to reduce as to availability

Suoermarkets do rip their customers off, my ASDA store nowhas removed so much as to singular choice and moved onto quantity bags of items and it's cooked meat counter has gone,now you have to buy all that in pre weighed and priced packaging now.

I hope as many people take advantage of these shops/stores while they are open for as long as they are able to as long as all is genuine as to the food and the dates too.

This is a great idea, criminal that good food goes to landfill, hope they open more of these.
