Jim was wrong to bring it up if he had nothing to do with it but we don't know what happened. Was Jim involved somehow and She hates him for that or did she take a hating to him because, as Jim says, he had an argument with her husband over the theft. It seems to me that whatever Jim does cant be right in some peoples eyes but you cant get away from the fact that the evil cow wont let him in peace.

Verdict.....If she fell out with Jim because he had an argument with her hubby over the theft, then its current and its tit for tat. Jim hasn't blown off at her, she is doing all the blowing.

I think it was in the dressing room of one of Jim's shows. Hence his involvement.

apparently Jim was the main reason why her hubby was arrested according to her and that's why she hates him. She has an agenda on the show now. She knows she cant win but she would rather Jim got kicked out and she wont let it rest. Jim gave her a slap with a theory in the hope she shut up but it backfired and now all the PC brigade are up in arms. I doubt if its all over yet.

Neither, really. I'm just enjoying it for what it is - good TV. I actually hope they offend each other even more, because I'd love to see Jim finally explode and potentially expose himself.

I'm a bit baffled by the mindset of some people on here, sure, have your opinions on either side of the fence, but why wish that the person you aren't siding with wasn't in the house? That makes no sense to me, I'm loving these arguments and finding these age old feuds that they seem to have which each other fascinating, I hope they continue - why anyone would want them to stop is beyond me and the same goes for Luisa's arguments too, and even Jasmine, Lee and Casey's love triangle - the ins and outs of all of these issues are the reason this series is so popular and is being talked about more than usual, yet people want this to stop by evicting the housemates involved?

Most of these housemates are just dreadful people, on that I am sure we can all agree...but...I want them to be dreadful people, I want them to show themselves up even more all for our viewing pleasure. That's what the beauty of this show is.

On the subject of Jim himself - I do always judge people on their actions within side the house, I think it's only fair to judge them all with a clean slate, and so far he's provided a fair bit of entertainment and has made me laugh, therefore I like him. But he is sexist and I do think he's masquerading his true views and his true self, he is clearly trying to stop himself from coming across badly so that he can improve his public perception. That doesn't make him a good person. Like I said, I'm enjoying him as a housemate and so far inside the house he's been fairly nice (albeit passive aggressive and thrown a few sexist remarks around - but that's important so that drama ensues), but I do think it's an act. I'm not buying this 'he's a changed man'.

.

Tonight Linda finally got what she's wanted. She has been drilling Jim non stop from day one, trying constantly to provoke him into an argument. So far Jim hasn't fallen into the trap and so far, no matter how hard Linda has tried - Jim has always walked away.

Tonight though he finally cracked. He made a bad choice in mentioning something upsetting from the past but to be honest he has done well to hold his tongue for so long.

She was really gunning for him - again - tonight for no reason other than wanting an argument. She drilled him over his totally normal question about Luisa being ok having no man, tried to turn everyone against him (as usual) then falsely accused Jim of calling her an asshole, which he never said.

If she hadn't been on his back all night (let alone the amount she has been on at him since before the show even started) then he never would have felt pushed to say anything at all!

She has started this whole argument since the show began, yet he has always been the one to try and make up and make light of it.

Then tonight - she went too far and also so did he.

The big difference between them though is that from the start - she has been constantly trying to have an argument with him and he has been constantly trying to avoid one with her.

Jim.

Linda constantly baits Jim, always tells him they dont like each other to fuel it and has made no real attempt to repair damage and if not befriend, meet each other as an acquaintance. Furthermore shes out to get the house against him.

I do understand why she got upset though.

Linda, they have had a few tiffs while tipsy but this was another level, just cruel and unnecessary to bring that up. There's no justifying that to me.

I like Jim, but thought he was below the belt tonight.
He kept saying that he said "is it about Frank Carson" which pissed me off as well, because he clearly said "ask her about Frank Carson." I thought he was better than that.

I think both had points in the argument, but I do feel that Linda overreacted slightly.

Hi - I'm new, but couldn't resist commenting on this thread. I can't stand Linda now. She looks as if she's sucking a lemon all the time, and her favourite hobby is whinging. She's like a witch sitting on that bed, sucking everyone who'll listen into her nastiness. I have no idea about Jim as a person, but why is she trying to turn everyone else against him. I think that's horrible. As far as I am concerned, Jim has been a saint to have tolerated her as long as he has. I don't like the comment he made, unless he truly thought her hatred of him might be related to it, but who can blame him. She has been odious to watch - spends a sizable portion of her time sitting in bed and bitching about him, and the rest giving him daggers or being downright nasty to him. It's noteable that she made a big drama out of his comment tonight, which helped her to avoid having to explain what it was all about. Naturally as soon as she'd got everyone's sympathy, the tears soon vanished and she got embroiled in bitching about some other drama.

The only thing with me is that as a casting choice, I find him abhorrent. Even more so considering he was originally slated to be on CBB11 with Brian hosting. It's the same reason I couldn't get behind Ron Atkinson as a casting choice at all. When your history as a celebrity is just that shady, I don't think CBB or any reality TV show for that matter is the best platform to be featured on.

But yeah, the other stuff is true. He's not changed whatsoever, he admitted that if he was himself he'd be ejected by now, he admitted that he's sexist (and his actions confirm that), and he's extremely passive aggressive. I can't with people saying Linda's the passive aggressive one when Jim's whole MO is to approach a woman with an incredibly patronizing comment, roll his eyes when said woman understandably gets defensive, and then mutter away and have a cigarette while making comments about how he's always wrong and of course there's another argument, even though he's been the root of almost all of them.
