I don't really think it's really hypocritical, she took offence to someone else bringing him up. It's like when you say something negative about you parents / partner whatever, that's ok but if someone else says it, you are more likely to take offence

Im loosing the will to live reading these posts. Linda creates a drama because her poor dead husbands name was dragged up even though he was convicted and admitted his crimes and she is now compounding the issue by bringing up his name again and painting him as some kind of pervert. I honestly cant comprehend why some of her supporters are closing their eyes to the obvious. She will play the victim one minute then in the next breath she add fuel to a fire she so much wants putting out. unbelievable.

..although I don't particularly like Linda so I'm not a supporter as such, she has every right to discuss any aspect of her life that she wants but Jim didn't refer to her life, he referred to her deceased husband's and while housemates themselves are 'fair game', their families/spouses aren't...how would it have been if Linda had referred to some kind of scandal attached to a member of Jim's family...and Jim himself made no excuses for what he did because he knew he was wrong to say it...

I made a thread asking about this last night actually and the majority of the replies where that she was a swinger or had group sex etc, I don't think that's what she was meaning at all.

After she said what she did the conversation moved to someone else but then when it went back to Linda she said something to Casey to explain what she meant then she laughed.

..yeah, I think I posted in your thread..do you think maybe she could have meant as in 'fantasising' about other men while she was with her husband...some really good looking celebrity or something..?...so it was like..oh my husband was there at the time..

ammi,Linda could have defused that quite easily it was HER who said "How dare he bring my dead husband into this" she could have told the HMs she had no idea what the daft old buggar was on about he was just causing trouble,she didn't have to mention it,plus she went on later to explain what it was about ,but totally gave the wrong impression,she lied,so imo,I think she kinda likes to play the victim as, What other storyline has she ? Then she makes herself sound more in with the crowd by claiming she had sex with different men but her hubby was always there!Maybe Jim shouldn't have said what he did ,but she made it an issue.

I just watched it again on Channel 5 & she clearly said her husband wasn't the only man she has had sex with, so I think that is clear that she shared her bed with other men...

...I think it would be an extremely emotive subject for her and that would be a very understandable and usual reaction..to have done the other that you suggested would suggest a very calm and controlled frame of mind, which how could she have had...it was just sprung on her out of the blue..insults etc against each other are expected but probably not that....and Jim knew exactly what he did and apologised so he makes no excuses at all...
