Aside from Mirrors he just didn't seem to bother promoting it at all, especially the second half of the album. Even then it was only really a performance at The Brit's I remember him doing. He just didn't seem to care too much. Mind you, aside from Take Back The Night and maybe a couple of other songs, there wasn't much to promote.

MJ will always be king, Elvis will always be THE king, Madonna will always be queen. There're other titles that can be given to Britney or whoever's still dancing about in ten years time.
